SP Tuning was established in 2000 and has become a trusted Tuning Company with a very high percentage of returning customers.  We moved in to our new premises in November 2010, where we now house our Dyno Dynamics Rolling Road, and also carry out the fitting of performance related parts including, brakes, suspension, exhausts and induction systems.

With nearly 30 years experience in the Motor Trade, starting out as dealership trained motor technicians, we believe that having a sound mechanical knowledge is of the utmost importance, and means we can ensure all work carried out is of the highest standard.

With the growth of our business we found it necessary to spread our mobile workload and now have several regional installation technicians, all of which are fully trained motor technicians.

We now specialise in remaps and parts for the VW Transporter and Citroen DS3 but continue to carry out remaps of the same high quality for other makes and models.

The quality and reliability of tuning equipment available varies greatly.  We take pride in the equipment we use and invest heavily to ensure that the tools we use are up to date, of the  best  quality  and the best for each particular application.  As the tuning process becomes more complicated with the release of the newer and more sophisticated engine management systems, using high quality cutting edge equipment becomes even more essential.

We are fully insured which means that your vehicle is covered while it is in our care including test drives carried out by us.  We are also covered by products and services liability insurance. Customer satisfaction and vehicle reliability is our priority. All of the figures given on our remap pages are our recommended settings which we have found to give the best all round results for improved performance, reliability and fuel economy.  Testament to the reliability of our products and the trust our customers have in us, is the repeat business of a number of large companies, including 2 Regional Ambulance Services for which we have to date tuned over 230 emergency ambulances.  Where ever possible we will carry out a diagnostic health check before any tuning takes place. Following this if we feel that the vehicle is not in a suitable condition for tuning we will give advice on recommended remedial work to be carried out before installation of the remap.

We are often asked who's software we use.  We are an independent company and use our own software, we are NOT a dealer for a large software supply company. This gives us greater flexibility and control over the tuning carried out on your vehicle and also means we have a complete understanding of changes made to your ECU.
